Testimonial by Zea Mays Member Victoria Burge on her time renting the private annex.
I recently had the wonderful experience of editioning a collection of new prints in the Annex at Zea Mays. The spacious, light-filled, private studio offered a peaceful, focused environment in which to develop my portfolio. The opportunity to take part in the community of printmakers working in the main studio was also immensely valuable. Observing the innovative techniques being practiced and engaging in discussions with several of the artists was the highlight of my residency and continues to serve as a meaningful and lasting source of inspiration.
