Annie Silverman

Annie Silverman has been a printmaker for 25 years and has concentrated on woodblock printmaking for the past 11 years.  She is the owner of ABRAZOS PRESS in Somerville , MA, a teaching and professional studio dedicated to relief printmaking .  Annie has been affiliated for over 15 years  with Mass Art in Boston where she teaches courses  in Artist Books, and Relief Printmaking into Books.  Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently in Kyoto, Japan as part of an artist book show created to coincide with the Mokuhanga Conference in June, 2011.  During the summer of 2010 Annie was an artist in residence and workshop presenter at the Graphic Workshop in Næstved, Denmark, where she had a solo exhibition, and at Clo’ Ceardlann, in Donegal, Ireland.  www.anniesilverman.biz (under the Massart website)www.abrazosprintshop.wordpress.com
